Summary: Collection consists primarily of images from Lowe's experiences as a soldier and miner in New Mexico. Includes images of Major General Frederick S. Strong, the U.S. Army 1st New Mexico Infantry, and their camp at Columbus, New Mexico in 1916-1917. Mining images are of miners and their camp at Pecos, New Mexico. Also within the collection are images of Lowe's wife Cossette Chavez Lowe, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, including the Governor's Mansion and the Palace of the Governors. Many images include unidentified people.
